Departing to eliminate the advertising world!

There is no return!

I was talking to an innovator friend of mine from L.A., who told me that he starts to develop a product by imagining the world in 50 years from now. When I developed LALIAFLIA, I could imagine the world (without exaggeration) in 2500 years from now (as in timeless). By developing the model of a FLIA it was clear to me that design & technology will be more and more life inspired.

Just two weeks ago I decided to read Kevin Kelly’s Book “Out of Control”. Kelly comes almost to the same insight as I have come with LALIAFLIA: “The world of the made will soon be like the world of the born: autonomous, adaptable, and creative but, consequently, out of our control.”

To predict and create the future of innovation is simple, because there is an inevitable  principle underlying “the world of the made”.

The “Infinite Game” that we are working on right now is in a way what the web is made for. Once we launch it and people use it, it will eliminate (among others) the advertising world!
When I presented the project to an advertiser during a conference he instantly said to me: “My job won’t be necessary than!”

Now here is the wake up call: “You never know how ideas will turn out!” - Here is the Buzzer Beater why it will: “Regardless if we do it or someone else, this Infinite Game will be widely excepted, because it’s what every human being is looking for today”.

I would not make such a prediction if I haven’t gone through an experience with a product innovation we designed a year ago.

When a good idea embraces the light of the world, it would be replicated because it solves a problem in a much better way than anything else we have seen before. This phenomenon is knows as MEME. It’s a principle of life and almost impossible to stop.
